Conductive concrete made its way to Fukushima, Japan, for the Yui 2025 Technical Showcase alongside Aizawa Concrete. Together, we demonstrated the application and function of ec^3 technology, including large-scale, modular columns that can be integrated into buildings to provide energy storage and release capabilities while serving as structural elements. We had great discussions with concrete and other industry stakeholders across Asia, and are looking forward to our next trip to Japan. Thank you very much to our hosts at Aizawa for their partnership and hospitality, and we look forward to our continued work together.

One of our favorite parts of the Showcase was the video and interactive demonstration they prepared to showcase ec^3 conductive concrete technology. Watch the recording below—we’re thankful to Aizawa Concrete for their effort putting the showcase together, especially the creativity of Aizawa architect Shohei Oguma.
